inacurate reading August 22, 2010 Allison Brothers (The WOODLANDS, TEXAS United States) Hi, I got this product and it was way off on my weight by 5 pounds. Not worth the money send this product right back if you have this
I love this scale!! August 11, 2010 J. Adams (Grannys Neck, Texas) First this scale is accurate and measures to the tenth of a pound. i.e. 179.4 lbs. Second it reads the same weight every time you use it, accurate! Yes it does need to be "recalibrated" when you move it, but all that means is you have to step on it and then step off. No fancy dials, buttons, screwdrivers or such.
But to me one of the BEST features is that the scale continues to show the weight for 20 seconds AFTER you step off the scale! Why is this great you ask? Because for two reasons, one for weighing huge pieces of luggage which cover the display, and two for folks whose belly or other body parts stick out and prohibit them from seeing the digital display while they are on the scale. I got it specifically to weigh luggage for an airline flight (darn the airlines for their restrictions) and the human weighing was just a bonus for me.
Love it!! Get it!!
It sucks March 25, 2010 Raymond N. Andrews (Sacramento, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the scale, and it eventually broke down. The readings were inaccurate.
Product didn't work! March 21, 2010 Matt (Cary, NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When I received the scale, it didn't work. I ended up taking out the battery and putting it in my older, better one. The battery worked just fine so it wasn't that. I could have easily sent it back but ended up throwing it away because it was so cheap, and at least I got the battery to make my older one continue working. The battery was more expensive to buy by itself than to just make the transfer! Hopefully when you get your scale, it works. :)
Why spend money on more expensive scales that may not work February 7, 2010 mom of 2 (usa) I had bought it because a more expensive one that I had bought (with more useless features) did not work well. This scale is great and simple.
