Product Description The following values are the attributes of this product: Color / Finish=Chrome, Installation=Freestanding / Wall-Mount, Width=24", Height=31-1/2", Depth=3-3/4", Voltage=120, Wattage=80Warmrails product line consists of over 10 heated towel warmers, varying in size, style and price. Each unit has been designed specifically for the U.S. market. Most models can be mounted to a wall, either hard-wired (by a professional) or soft wired, allowing them to be plugged into a standard outlet. Some models offer the unique ability to be used freestanding. Because Warmrails are so good at drying towels (and even clothing and delicate laundry items), a heated towel and drying rack can save an owner money, while helping to protect the environment. Energy bills will be lower due to running the dryer less frequently. This in turn extends the life of towels and clothing and reduces detergents in the waterways. Warmrails packaging clearly demonstrates these and other practical uses of the product, as well as the luxury of warm towels.
Amazon.com Review Using less power than an average light bulb and considerably less power than a clothes dryer, the Filatherm element in this metal towel rack is designed to run continuously to keep towels dry and warm. After some minimal assembly, the Heatra Classic is ready to use in its freestanding position and plugs into any 120-volt outlet with a seven-foot cord. An on/off switch on the cord is illuminated for ease of use in the dark. Hardware is included for do-it-yourself wall-mounting; also, the UL/CUL-listed rack may be professionally hard-wired for use with a wall switch. The Heatra Classic's single-pipe construction, curved into four bends, adds a contemporary look to any bathroom. There's nothing quite as luxurious as having a warm towel ready after a shower or bath. By drying towels more quickly than if they are left to air-dry, the rack helps eliminate mildew and dampness that can cause odors in the bathroom. Delicate undergarments and swimsuits can also be dried on the rack, which will not overheat and is not filled with leak-prone oil or liquids. Measuring 24 by 37-3/4 by 10-1/2 inches in its freestanding position, the rack is portable and easily moved from one bathroom to another. When wall-mounted, the Heatra Classic measures 24 by 31-1/2 by 3-3/4 inches. Three finishes are available: brass, chrome, and satin nickel. --Ann Bieri

towel warmer October 18, 2008 pupi5 (Pomona, NY United States) This warmer takes about 1/2 hr to hest up and then the towel doesnt even get very warm. Not worth the money
Perfect for us! July 27, 2008 J. Warnagiris (PA) This is our second Warmrails towel rack. First one lasted 7 years, constantly "on". We definitely got our moneys worth! It dries our towels nicely and keeps them warm in the winter.
Warmrails Heatra Classic June 30, 2008 Hervey Wright (Wichita, KS United States) This is a great product. We already have one and this one is a gift for a friend. Keeps towels dry and warm. Great in the winter and the summer.
Great disappointment! Look further before you buy February 23, 2008 F. Dunaway (Peoria, IL USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product seemed, at purchase to be a good choice. It was well rated by others, and moderately priced. It was neither the least, nor most expensive, and was rated well above average. To my dismay, I find it very disappointing. It does not warm my towel more than a bare minimum over the ambient room temperature, and that warmth is confined to the inner surfaces of the towel, which were in direct contact with the rack itself. Although all joints are fitted snug and fasteners tight, the rack itself is NOT a "rock-solid" unit, although for now it does not appear it will topple. I recommend anyone thinking about this, or any other similar device should "test-drive" one, or seek a quality unit with which they have experience at a hotel or resort PRIOR to committing funds!
Towel Warmer/Dryer February 10, 2008 Donald L. Barker 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought it for drying the towels to be sure I had a dry fresh towel in the morning. It works great, and a moderate level of warmth is just a plus for me. I'd recommend it.
