I should listened to the other review about it not being tall enough for a standard hand towel. Did more searching, and found another solution for myself, an over the cabinet door towel bar.

This item is of good quality - sturdy, heavy, well built, but it works only for fingertip towels. For regular size hand towels this stand is too short. I had to return mine.

I pruchased it for my son's bathroom a few weeks ago, and so far it works fine. Product is sturdy, well-mounted and looks nice on the countertop. I was worried about the height, I thought the towel would be too long for the holder, but it works just fine.

I was very satisfied, particulary I worried about getting a towel rack heavy enough so it wouldn't get pulled over while drying your hands. This one does the job and looks good too.
