| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review In smart contrast to electric blankets, the Rest Secure Restwarmer mattress pad generates heat underneath your body with zoned heating for customizable comfort. The design fits snugly onto standard depth mattresses up to 12 inches thick with extra cushioning on top to prevent the sleeper from feeling the wires running through the pad. Dual controls let two sleepers tailor the sides of the bed to different tastes, while the zone design creates gentle warmth around the torso and extra heat at the feet. Rest Secure uses a durable 100 percent polyester fabric called Fiber-Woven to protect the mattress and ensure long-lasting use of the pad. Equipped with a 10-hour shut-off mechanism for safety, the piece is even machine-washable and dryable. It carries a full five-year warranty and comes in full, queen, king, and California king sizes. --Emily Bedard
Product Description Gentle heat from under the sheet banishes chilly feet forever and soothes tired muscles.

Great if it works but worst customer service ever March 15, 2010 Rebecca (Rochester, NY) I owned one of these for five years and I loved it. I bought one for my grandmother and directed my dad to this website so he could get one for my mother. I recommended it to a friend whose mother had arthritis. When my old mattress pad died I immediately jumped online and purchased another just like the one I had. The new one worked for a couple weeks and then it died, I wasn't too bothered, mistakes happen. So I called the company hoping to get a replacement. I had to leave a message and was told to expect to receive a call back in THREE to FOUR days. When the only customer service rep did finally return my call she was exceedingly rude. She promised to email me a shipping label and when it didn't arrive and I called and had to wait yet another THREE to FOUR days for her to call me back she then tried to tell me it was my fault she messed up. That was weeks ago and I still haven't received a new mattress pad. Now, I just hope no one I recommended this to has the same trouble because I feel like I would owe them an apology for steering them to this headache. She did a very effective job of turning a loyal customer away for good.
Heated Mattress Pad March 13, 2010 exfed12825 (Pennsylvania) Great product. The pad itself is very comfortable and easy put on. There are 5 heat settings and a controller for both sides of the bed. It takes very little time to warm up and shuts off automatically in 12 hours in case you forget. The heat itself is a dry, comfortable heat. The pad is warmer at your feet than at your shoulders and since feet tend to always be much colder than the rest of you, this is yet another nice feature. We highly recommend it.
WIRES FOR THE BED WARMER February 25, 2010 Dennis J Friedman We have night stands on each of the bed,(Queen size) the controls are only long enough to reach to the edge of the stand and also if don't have an outlet at the head of your bed to plug the cord in to, your going to be walking on the cord.
My wife is always cold, so she sleeps all night with the control set on high, she complains that her side of the bed is not warmed up all the way in a half hour
There are more expensive models, but this works just fine! February 21, 2010 tom (upstate new york) It is a true comfort to slip into a warm spot between the sheets on these Adirondack winter nights.
The individual settings are a blessing, since one of us is cold blooded [would be careful not to buy one without dual controls].
I personally pre-heat at level 5 ... then lower to level 1 for sleeping;-]
If I could add 1 feature, it would be a timer- - so that the thing would turn itself on instead of relying on my memory.
Well worth the money February 12, 2010 W. Blanton (Boston, MA) Purchased this as a gift for my wife - got the dual controls because I don't like being roasted and figured that I would just never turn my side on.
Well, I was wrong. The unit is VERY nice for pre-warming the bed, which is what I use it for. It also works prety nicely in the morning to help me get out of bed - I crank the heat up and when it gets hot I get out of bed.
The controls are very simple and easy to use, and it has a timer that turns it off if you leave it on.
Well worth the money.
