The kid in you will appreciate how quick and easy it is to mix up a batch of cookie dough. This model comes with three attachments: a flat beater for making batter, meat loaf, and all textures in-between; a wire whip for egg whites, mayonnaise, and more air-infused creations; and a hook for mixing and kneading yeast doughs. bought this for my friend who likes to bake but finds kneading the dough tiring. this mixer is very powerful but easy to operate. we now bake pizza on a regular basis. plus, the rebate was processed in two weeks.

I have wanted one of these bad boys since before my son was born, and he is now 17! I purchased the item in the dark red, and just love it. Its an awesome machine, that performs wonderfully! Not to mention its down right beautiful:) Every cook/baker should have one!

I have waited for this mixer for a few years. I didn't want to spend the money, so I figured I'd shop around. I couldn't find it under $250. for the red one. This Christmas I found it on a Friday sale with free shipping and a mail in for a free grater attachment ($50.value) I decided to purchase for me and I have been using it ever since. Smooth running, not too loud- I only wished I got it sooner, but I did get it for $239. total. I can't beat that price. Works like a charm. I have not made bread yet, but cookies, cakes, and brownies for school and church events. I don't have one thing to complain about. If you want one--get it! It is definitely worth the money!!

I love my KitchenAid Stand Mixer. It makes my baking easier especially kneading dough for bread. Also, it saves time in doing things which took me forever before. I will definitely use this mixer for a long long time. It fits very well in my kitchen and is really a joy just looking at it.

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen,therefore I'm careful about my choose of kitchen equipment. Read all the reviews, looked at the mixer in department stores,and spoke to people who owned them.
The mixer is heavy duty, no movement on your counter top. I placed mine in a position where I would not have to move it a lot. Made two cakes to begin with did a great job. Then came the lemon meringue pie. Decided that you did indeed need to adjust the beater height.
One should read the manual first, as my husband says "It's best to know how your tools works, before you use them."
A sugestion of my own is to check the attachment cover before you ever use this mixer,make sure the screw is tight. Mine came off like a minature missle. Nothing broke , but be aware that this is a powerful mixer. I did have it on high since I was making meringue.
If you have been undecided about this mixer, hopefully you'll change your mind.
Now about Amazon.com,I've done business with them for a few years now,never have they let me down. They nearly always beat anyone else's price. They stand behind the products that they sell. Shipping is great and quick. The only time that I had a problem with a item, amazon replaced it within two days.
Keep up the good job Amazon!!!
